PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy explains how guru holistic therapies use the personal data I collect about you & how guru holistic therapies comply with the GDPR General Data Protection Regulations that will come into force on 25/5/2018.
As your privacy is very important to me your information will NEVER be shared with other third parties or organisations for marketing purposes. I will only share if required by law.
What guru holistic therapies will collect:
Your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, and GP contact details
Lifestyle and health questions and details may be recorded (to understand and to enable a high standard of care during a treatment)
You can refuse to divulge this but this may affect my ability to treat you
If I cannot record minimum information I may have to refuse treatment.
How I use your information
A consultation form is provided for you when you first attend, any changes to your circumstances must be mentioned as and when they occur. (All hard copies are stored in a locked filing cabinet).
To make continuous improvements to my services.
To contact clients before/after an appointment as part of my customer care ethos.
Where permission is granted to communicate via email, text or newsletter to promote my services, promote new products, new treatments, special offers and any other information I feel would be of interest.
I retain your information for 7 years after your last contact with me (or until you are 25 years old if you are under 18 when I first see you), after which it is securely disposed of.
Email communication
We adhere to the following guidelines in relation to our email communications:
· emails will clearly identify guru holistic therapies as the sender
· emails will include our physical postal address
· emails sent to you for marketing purposes will include an option to unsubscribe from future email messages
· you may unsubscribe from all mailing lists, with the exception of any emails regarding legal notices or invoice
· online booking with Setmore, which again you can unsubscribe

Request errors are rectified within one month of requesting this in writing to me
The right to request records are deleted from my internal database and hard copy written notes.
